Chapel is organized by the school to provide an opportunity for spiritual growth among the student body. Guest speakers, faculty, staff and students participate on a regular basis. It is an important time to reflect on the Word of God. Students have the opportunity to learn about the faith of their teachers or other committed Christians in the community. Chapel provides students with a wide background of Christian ideas. Performing arts such as drama, music and poetry that glorify God are encouraged.
Chapel is held in the Multi-purpose Room for both elementary and secondary. Teachers are expected to support the program and participate on a regular basis. Chapel is not the same as church worship as it is designed to minister to students in an educational setting rather than a church setting.
Purposes of Chapel
- To challenge students to apply Biblical principles and commitments to all aspects of personal and corporate life.
